Looking for info on this 1918 fob/charm. Makes me think of the WWI “I want you” recruitment poster. I wonder if this is from some kind of St Louis recruitment effort? I’m in the USA.

My great-grandma bought these in Shanghai around 1920. They’re 22k+

These are some items I have owned over the years, all made from coins. Mostly love tokens. I find such pieces fascinating, and always look for them at flea markets, etc..

English-language business card from Aux Belles Poules, a well-known Parisian brothel. "Jeanine" was probably one of the prostitutes, her name inscribed in case the client was satisfied and wanted to see her again in the future. the brothel closed in 1946.

is this vintage brooch based on a piece of art? it reminds me of museum gift shop pieces I've seen that are based on sculptures/paintings. I can't quite make out the signature but it looks like OXASSOS, OYASSOS, ©YASSOS, or something like that. sounds Greek.

looking for info on this brooch. signature on back appears to be OYASSOS, OXASSOS, or something similar (pretty sure about the SSOS, but the first letters are less legible). sounds Greek. at first I thought it might be a museum replica type piece of a work of art or something but really not sure!

I bought an early 80s fashion book at the Strand bookstore. when I got home and started leafing through it, I found a piece of Diana Vreeland's personal stationery stuck between the pages.

I bought a 1980s Yves Saint Laurent exhibition catalog at the Strand bookstore, and while leafing through it I discovered a piece of Diana Vreeland's personal stationery. she co-authored the catalog, so maybe it was her copy at one point.

could not resist this 1970s men's shirt at a flea market! it has so many labels/signatures: Saks Fifth Avenue, "Milano st" and/or "Milano sti" on the fabric, and "Vilar of Barcelona for Barry Boonshaft". I was unable to find out anything about Vilar of Barcelona or Milano Sti.
